Have a Challenge?

Psychologist Dr. Shloimie Zimmerman will be taking calls from the community (adults 18+ only). Callers can have a free one-on-one conversation. They can ask about anything psychological that they want advice on and can choose to remain anonymous.

Keep in mind, this IS NOT THERAPY and is for informational and educational purposes only.

  • • Anxiety
  • • Depression
  • • Grief

  • • Religious struggles

We know from the research that courage, empathy, and connection are some of the most powerful forces in improving our mental health.

So we wondered, what would happen if we were brave and vulnerable with one another?

What would happen if we took therapy out of the shadows and openly acknowledged our shared struggles? Could we soften just a bit of the stigma?

Could we give more of a voice to important topics that affect so many of us?

Could sharing and learning about each others' challenges and successes help us become stronger and more resilient together?

Of course, podcast therapy is not actual therapy and is for informational and educational purposes only.

We hope to provide the experience of speaking with a mental health professional, whether that is for a brief consultation or something more similar to an actual therapy session. We invite both kinds of guests on - those calling for a short question and answer session on a specific topic, and those looking to dig deeper, sharing their story and working through a challenge. We hope our callers and listeners benefit from the experience.
